The hackers are saying the site's administrators "challenged them"

The website of the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying (txls.texas.gov), hosted on the official site of the State of Texas, has been breached and defaced by Tunisian hackers of “The Outlaws” team.

“We lookout for enemies. We chose the path of jihad,” the hackers wrote on the defaced site.

They’ve also sent this message to the site’s administrators, “You think that you did nothing but you challenged me with trying to protect your website.”

At the time of writing, the website still displays the defacement page posted by the hacker.

This is just one of many instances in which US government websites are hijacked by anti-US hackers. Last week, a hacker defaced the official website of the City of Harford, Connecticut, and the one of Jefferson County, Wisconsin.
