Hacktivists part of the RedHack collective have once again protested against Turkey’s government. This time, the target is a subdomain hosted on the website of the country’s Foreign Ministry.

The public.mfa.gov.tr domain has been defaced to host the hackers’ message and images in which Recep Tayyp Erdogan, Turkey’s prime minister, is greeting Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi and Syria’s president.

“Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu rants and raves about Syria and lectures the insurgents in Syria but he is unable to protect his own country and his department. All Foreign Mission Personnel details of other countries in Turkey have been infiltrated from Ministry of Foreign Affairs website,” the hackers wrote on the defaced page.

“Details of all the foreign mission members and their families (those working at Consulates and Embassies including high ranking officers), intelligent agents have been confiscated in the name of people of Turkey. Turkish government is cringing on to their masters to prove that they are a good ally,” they added.

“Fascist AKP government and their cult of Gulen Movement will do anything to prove they are an obeying puppets of NATO , USA and imperialist war mongers. People of Turkey do not want to be part of this dirty war in Syria and Middle East.”

RedHack has also demanded the release of seven individuals arrested on suspicion of being members of the group.

To demonstrate that they’ve managed to gain access to the sensitive data, the hackers have published copies of the ID cards of foreign diplomats serving in Turkey.

Soon after the information was made public, the group’s official Twitter account was suspended. Turkish officials have also launched an investigation to determine the identities of those responsible for the attacks, Hurriyet Daily News reports.

A Foreign Ministry official has told the press that their locations have already been discovered.
