Hackers have breached and defaced the official website of the Philippines’ Adamson University. The attack was carried out in protest against the administration’s decision to increase tuition and miscellaneous fees.

“The administration pushes us insatiably to the walls of hopelessness. We are pushed to act by this desperate time. Now, let us pull ourselves together and revolt against this repressive anti-student policy,” the hackers wrote on the defaced site.

They added, “This is a call for action. Inform your friends via text messages! Wear black on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Do not pay your midterm balance! Expect us.”

“Our ITC has identified the source and has removed it. Website is okay now,” the school’s representatives wrote on Twitter after restoring the website.

The website of Adamson University is hacked quite often. It was previously hacked in July 2011, in June 2012 and in October 2012.
