The hackers have also defaced the website of an educational institution

The official websites of the Secretariat of Public Security of the Government of the State of Baja California Sur, Mexico, has been hacked and defaced by members of Team Hack Argentino.

At the time of writing, the website has been restored, but Techworm.in reports that the attackers have posted a message in which they tell the Mexican government that its information systems are as “safe” as the country.

In addition to the Secretariat of Public Security website, the same hacktivists have defaced the official website of the Educational Center of Durango (centropedagogico.edu.mx). Currently, the site is offline.

It’s worth noting that both of these websites were hacked last year by other hackers. This means that their administrators still haven’t patched them, despite being aware that the sites are plagued by security holes.
