A hacker called Ninjalong claims to have hacked the website of the Penang Bridge Marathon 2013 (penangmarathon.gov.my), an event that takes place in Malaysia on November 17.

According to Cyber War News, the hacker has leaked the details of over 30,000 individuals who have ordered t-shirts on the website, including their names, addresses, email addresses, and dates of birth.

Ninjalong has also allegedly gained access to credit card information. However, he says he hasn’t published it to prevent misuse.

I’ve reached out to the organizers of the Penang Bridge Marathon 2013 to see if they can comment on the hacker’s claims.

Interestingly, on October 3, a message was published on the website to notify users of Bitcoin scam emails that leveraged the event. At the time, the organization reassured everyone that its systems were not hacked.
