Hackers of the Pakistan Haxors Crew have breached and defaced the official website of the Assam Rifles (assamrifles.gov.in), one of India’s paramilitary forces.

The hackers have added their defacement page to assamrifles.gov.in/phc.html. The index page of the site appears to be untouched.

In a message posted on Facebook, the Pakistan Haxors Crew noted, “We have what we want.”

At the time of writing, the defacement page is still online. A mirror of the Assam Rifles defacement is available on Add-Attack.

Earlier this month, the same group uploaded a defacement page to the Eastern Railway subdomain of the official Indian Railways website.

A lot of attacks have been launched by Pakistani and Indian hacktivists over the past days. On January 26, when India celebrated Republic Day, Pakistani groups are said to have defaced over 2,000 websites.
