14 DAY TRIAL // The Bangladeshi Ministry of Social Welfare’s Department of Social Services website (dss.gov.bd) has been hacked and defaced by a hacker called Abu Halil 501.
“Hacked by Abu Halil 501, It is a good day to die!” the hacker wrote on the defaced website.
According to HackRead, this is the second time Abu Halil501 defaces the site of the Bangladesh Department of Social Services.
The first breach took place around one year ago. On both occasions, the hacker added his defacement page to www.dss.gov.bd/d.htm.
At the time of writing, the defacement page added by the hacker is still online.
It’s uncertain why the hacker targeted this particular Bangladeshi website. However, I’ve sent him an email hoping to get more details.
I’ll update this post in case he responds to my inquiry.
