The eyes of the world are on Syria after the recent alleged chemical weapons attack

The eyes of the world are on Syria these days after the country has been accused of using chemical weapons in an attack near Damascus.

The Syrian government has denied any involvement in the attack and has even allowed the UN to send a team to investigate. However, snipers shot at the UN convoy that visited the attack site.

Last week, a group of Turkish hackers launched attacks against a number of major Syrian websites in protest against the attack.

Now, pro-US hacker The Jester (th3j35t3r) has disrupted the website of the Atomic Energy Commission of Syria (aec.org.sy) in protest against the Assad regime.

“Bad things happen to bad people, and there's an unequal amount of good and bad in most things,” he said.

In a brief private conversation, the hacker has led me to believe that the website of the Atomic Energy Commission isn’t the only one he’s currently targeting.

Aec.org.sy has been down for the past couple of hours.
