Webroot Software has released a new update for SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus, as it managed to implement a new series of fixes and improvements for its Windows security product.

Basically, version 8.0.4.57 comes with fixes for some minor UI issues with Backup & Sync, but also with patches aimed at addressing bugs that caused commands from the console to be disabled.

At the same time, it also improves scanning folders on network drives, detection for the Expire virus, generic blocking of threats, and compatibility with AdBlock.

Just like the previous builds, the application continues to work on all Windows versions currently supported by Microsoft, starting with XP and ending with Windows 8.1. Of course, all users are strongly recommended to update as soon as possible, so download Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus 8.0.4.57 right now.
