The Webconverger project, an evolution of the hybrid client for deployments in places like offices or Internet cafes where only web applications are used, is now at version 11.2. The previous version of Webconverger, 11, has managed to become a popular release, so the developers have decided to expand it a little and
release Webconverger 11.2.
As usual, the most important change in Webconverger 11.2 is the introduction of
Mozilla Firefox 10, keeping in line with the latest web browser releases.
Webconverger 11.2 also comes with Linux kernel 3.2 (with TCP Proportional Rate Reduction), a few bugfixes, including stopping accidental downloads of unknown mimetypes and removal of confusing tab groups from Firefox, and more (non-free) wireless firmware, such as Realtek, Libertas, brcm80211 & Atheros.
