The Webconverger project, an evolution of the hybrid client for deployments in places like offices or Internet cafes where only web applications are used, is now at version 10.2.

Webconverger 10.2 comes with some necessary updates, but also with a complete site redesign made by Patric Schwarz.

The main change in the Webconverger project is the Flash update, but there are also a lot of other smaller updates such as Firefox 8, new firmaware for ralink wireless, and a lot of removed packages.

The developer believes that the removed packages in the new version were unnecessary, and it is better to customize Webconverger with the chosen locale settings, than modifying the boot menu. The appropriate dictionary can be download after Webconverger 10.2 has booted.
