We all remember him: the not-so-tall artist that used to break young girls' heart with 'Purple Rain' and fire their imagination with lascivious single 'Sexy Motherf****r', the pop prince often compared with Michael Jackson in terms of excessive use of make-up and womanly clothes.

This Monday, in the Cipriani restaurant from the financial district of New York, the 10th gala of the Webby Awards was held, celebrating excellence in web design, creativity and functionality. Among the winners was also the artist that now goes again under the name of Prince. The event was organized by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

When Prince accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award, his 5-word acceptance speech (this is the official limit for all speeches) was 'Everything you think... is true'. The artist performed live at the end of the ceremony but the crowd was a little exhausted after a five-hour marathon through the most appreciated websites from more than 65 categories. So, to end it in rock style, Prince threw his guitar in the air at the end of 'Don't Play Me', let it crash on the stage and then headed directly for the exit. Typically rock and roll!

Prince was also acknowledged for being among the first artist ever to launch an album ('Crystal Ball') exclusively on the Internet, in 1997.
