Web2 Delight 1.5 Adds User-Requested Features

Web2 Delight allows you to locate, view and transfer your favorite videos from YouTube, Dailymotion, Veoh, blip.tv, and photos from Flickr, Picasa, Webshots and Photobucket. Global Delight has updated its utility for transferring and managing content from the web to include user-requested features, user interface tweaks and other enhancements.

Web2 Delight not only enables you to spot and view your favorite videos and photos, but it also lets you organize them into custom collections, create slideshows, export videos to different formats, burn the collections to CD/DVD and, most importantly, it allows you to transfer the videos / photos to your iPod or iPhone. Actually, it does everything listed just below.

- Download videos and photos from popular video and photo sharing sites.
- Fill iPods and iPhones with videos and photos.
- Export FLV videos to MOV, M4V and 3GP formats.
- Download videos with the URL.
- Create favorite collections and organize them.

- Save search and refer later.
- Schedule collections and save time.
- Create slideshow with cool effects.

As for the newly included features, adding a new video site is now possible, as is retaining original FLV videos and downloading videos using URLs. An export option to AVI, MOV and 3GP formats has also been added. The new version boasts the ability to download H.264 videos (if available). Sorting options for searching the videos / photos, such as newly added to the site, date, rating, have also been added.

Granted you have the URL, Web2 Delight allows you to download videos from YouTube. Of course you can save the original videos in the FLV format! Better yet, you can even export the videos to MOV, M4V and 3GP file formats. You don't need state-of-the art architecture to run it, either. A Mac running 10.4.9 (Tiger) will do just fine. Leopard works just as well.

A trial version of the app, which runs for 30 days and has no feature lock for the first 10 days, is available for download. Web2 Delight 1.5 is a free update for existing users (version 1.1 or later). The program costs U$19.95 to buy.
