Tweetro+ developers have recently announced that they’re now working on porting the popular Windows Phone Weave news reader app to Windows 8, but it’s not yet clear whether a Windows RT version is also in the works.

According to a Twitter post, the application will be ported together with Seles Games and is expected to be released in the coming months, most likely with a small fee.

While the number of apps available in the Store is still small but growing at a faster pace, this is pretty good news for Microsoft, especially because the company is struggling to convince more devs to embrace Windows 8.

At this point, there are more than 55,000 apps offered to Windows 8 users, with approximately 1,000 new entries published by Microsoft every single day.
