Jailbroken users under iOS 6.1 will be able to fix their Weather applications using an upcoming patch. Hacker pod2g says the fix will be released through Cydia.
Offering no timeframe for the wait, the renowned hacker
writes on Twitter, “About Weather.app, we now know how to fix it. We are working on modifying evasi0n app and on pushing a fix to Cydia for already jailbroken.”
Soon after evasi0n was rolled out, reports started trickling in about Weather.app crashes. The issue was immediately tied to the jailbreak tool.
On iPads, however, the jailbreak actually resurrects a hidden weather application. Another cool finding thanks to evasi0n includes a “Radio Buy” button which has pundits thinking that the iRadio rumors circulating last year may come to fruition.
