14 DAY TRIAL // The popular weather application Pilot My-Cast available on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, has just received a major updated. Developed by Digital Cyclone, a subsidiary of Garmin, one of the big players in satellite navigation, Pilot My-Cast is an aviation-centric weather and flight planning application.
The software is designed specifically for general aviation, corporate and commercial pilots, and recently got new features that will be available at no additional cost from the iTunes store.

The new features included in the updated version include:
Aviation Fuel Pricing - New map layer includes 100LL and Jet fuel for current airport and/or along your route or via airport directory; Terminal Procedures, including Airport Diagrams and Instrument Approach Charts; searchable via State, Region, Airport Identifier (FAA or ICAO); AOPA Airport Directory and Terminal Procedures available via airplane mode (offline).
Pilots using this application will find real-time fuel price information, as Pilot My-Cast is designed to displays fuel prices at the pilot’s current airport and along their current route. Further, the new chart feature makes it easy for pilots to quickly find and view all AeroNav Services Departure Procedures (DP), Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs), approach charts, and airport diagrams.
Pilot My-Cast is a premium weather, flight planning and flight filing application exclusively for customers in the U.S. and Canada and requires subscription. The application is available on iPhone for a monthly fee of $9.99, or an annual subscription of $99.99, and can be downloaded from the AppStore.
