The amazingly popular WeChat application for Android and iOS devices has just received a small but important update that brings some new features into the mix.

The most important seems to be the ability to unsend the last message a WeChat user sends within two minutes. After this period, you won’t be able to recall the sent message anymore.

This is not the only new feature included in this update, as WeChat users should expect more goodies from the developers, such as the option to add tags to their contacts for much easier management.

Last but not least, Android users will also be able to download received images automatically via Wi-Fi. This feature does not show up on the changelog for the iOS version, so we assume it’s only available to Android users.

You can now download WeChat for Android 5.3.1 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.

Apple fans can also download WeChat for iOS 5.3.1.17 for free via App Store. As mentioned by the developers, this version of the application requires iOS 5.0 or later and should be compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.
