Actress Angelina Jolie took her 3-year-old Cambodian born son Maddox to the Live 8 concert in St. Austell, England, according to LA Daily News. The Saturday concert gathered on stage top African musicians.
Jolie, famous for her charity work, is convinced that the Live 8 gig, which has brought together 170 artists on 10 stages to show their support for the Africa aid initiative should have a great impact on the political decisions which are about to be taken at the G8 summit in Scotland.
Angelina, a U.N. goodwill ambassador, is convinced that we can really help Africa by showing we care; "with all that we have in the world, we can fix what is happening in Africa, we can save lives, we can turn it around," the famous actress told reporters.
Almost 2 billion people from all around the globe watched the Live 8 concerts from UK, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Japan, Russia and the United States, while over 26 million sent text messages to support the Africa debt relief cause.
