14 DAY TRIAL // Waze, one of the most popular Android traffic and navigation applications available on the market, has just received a major update, which bumps it to version 3.8.0.0.
The latest version comes with lots of new features and improvements meant to keep the competition farther behind in terms of functionality.
First of all, developers have announced that with the latest version of Waze, users will be able to find friends on Waze by adding Contacts. In addition, you can now send friend requests and manage your list at the same time.
But this is not all. Long-time users of Waze will surely notice that the application now features a completely new design for sending location. Moreover, the update adds the ability to save locations sent between friends for future navigation.
Another new feature included in the new version of Waze will allow users to easily share drive from ETA screen, as well as see who’s viewing their shared drive. You can now keep Waze on screen when answering calls. Developers have also confirmed that some bug fixes have been added as well.
You can now download Waze for Android 3.8.0.0 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
