South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has just announced the launch of a new smartphone running under its bada operating system, namely the Samsung Wave575 (GT-S5750).

At the same time the company brought to display the Samsung Wave525 (GT-S5250) and the Samsung Wave533 (GT-S5330), which were previously known to the world as the Samsung Wave2 and Wave2 Pro.

According to the leading handset vendor, the new devices come to the market with its bada operating system on boarrd, while bringing forth increased usability, as well as features that enable users stay connected at all times while on the go.

The Wave family of devices delivers enhanced customization and optimization options, so that users can receive from their mobile phones the experience they would like.

“The Samsung Wave family will give users an optimized smartphone experience that suits their lifestyle,” said JK Shin, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics.

“I’m proud of the Samsung Wave family as it continues to deliver rich, connected and innovative smartphone experiences for everyone.

“These three new devices in the Samsung Wave family represent Samsung’s commitment to delivering choice for smartphone users and ultimately democratizing the smartphone market,” he said.

One of the main feature of the Wave family of devices is the fast access they offer to applications and services, including social networking an the like.

All three phones come with a 3.2” WQVGA TFT LCD display, while packing 100MB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space.

The Wave575 comes with a sleek, compact design, and offers three color options, including black, white and pink.

The handset also provides a one‐stop hub for all communications, including SMS, Email, SNS, and Instant Messaging, as well as support for software solutions available via the Samsung Apps portal.

The new mobile phone comes with support for 3G HSDPA networks, and should land on the market in Sweden in mid-November, followed by Europe, Southeast Asia and China in the near future.
