Police are still searching for the second suspect in the Boston marathon bombings as they set up a perimeter on the streets of Watertown, Massachusetts.

Meanwhile, new details have come to light about the chase that has lead the two men to the city of Watertown.

WAFB mentions that the pair have been chased from Cambridge to Watertown after fatally shooting a police officer on the MIT campus.

They opened fire on police squad cars and threw explosives out the window. A photo of a police car with its windows shattered after a fire exchange has been posted earlier. The suspects drove a green Honda Accord, according to witness accounts.

Other explosive devices may have been placed at the scene, and police officers have been advised not to use their cellphones in certain areas, as they could detonate the bombs.
