Halo 5: Guardians developer 343 Industries has confirmed that those who watch the upcoming Halo: Nightfall series will be able to unlock more and meaningful content inside the beta stage for the game, which is set to appear at the end of the year.

Halo fans are in for quite a few treats in the future, as 343 Industries and Microsoft are going to debut Halo: The Master Chief Collection on the Xbox One, and then follow up with the Halo 5: Guardians beta at the end of the year.

Afterwards, until Guardians launches in the fall of 2015, special Halo series and TV content will be released, such as Halo: Nightfall.

According to 343's Kiki Wolfkill, those who indulge in such extra Halo experiences will be rewarded with different unlockable things in the Halo 5 beta. She told Kotaku that there wouldn't be any standard unlockables, like artwork, but something meaningful.

"We will go into more specifics a little later down the road," she said, "but we definitely want [Halo 5 beta] rewards to feel meaningful for the player. So it's not just art [things]."

As of yet, Halo fans can look forward to the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One on November 11.
