The video embedded at the bottom of this article is presented to all new Microsoft employees. So you have the chance, even if it is only for 1:52 minutes, to sit down and share a small part of what the experience of working over at Microsoft is. The video is a collage of statements from top Microsoft executives that aims to deliver an answer to the question "why Microsoft?".

"Do you have potential?" This is the question with which the video opens up. And the answer is of course "Yes!" as it is referring to people that the Redmond Company has already hired. And just in case you were wondering about the king of people Microsoft is hiring, the company's Chief Executive Office, Steve Ballmer provides the answer: "The kind of people we hire are th eking of people who care. People who want to be someplace that they can put their heart, body and soul into!"

Steve Ballmer delivers his speech in the usual high pitch voice, almost screaming. Bill Gates follows him with a more natural tone of voice. We can see from his title, Chairman and Chief Software Architect, that the video is a tad old, in fact before the Microsoft Co-Founder had announced his imminent retirement.

"What we are doing here is the most important thing going on, it's the most exciting thing, it's the fastest moving thing. It is very ambitious," Gates says. Additional executives follow Gates, including Jeff Raikes and Jim Allchin, all delivering motivational speeches. Just imagine that you are sitting in an office on the Redmond campus, watching this video, you have moved into a Microsoft-centric world and you are eating up Microsoft ideology...
