Metro Redux, the upcoming collection of the remastered Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light games, has just received a fresh launch trailer, showing off all sorts of great gameplay footage, not to mention a few impressive screenshots.

The Metro franchise has had a rocky life so far, delivering a niche shooter experience with the first Metro 2033 coming from 4A Games and THQ, while the sequel, Metro: Last Light, appeared from 4A and publisher Deep Silver, which now owns the rights to the series.

Even so, the new company is quite confident in the appeal of the two games and tasked 4A with remastering the two experiences for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, not to mention the PC.

The result is Metro Redux, a special collection that includes both Metro 2033 and Last Light remastered and with all the DLC released up until now.

The two games are coming out this week, and in order to hype up the experience, a special launch trailer has just been posted by Deep Silver and 4A.

What's more, a set of screenshots has also been released, showing off plenty of intense moments from both Metro 2033 Redux and from Metro: Last Light Redux.

Check out both the video and the screenshots below.
