The Jelly Bean tablet landed in the hands of a Chinese buyer with a camera

Sony launched the world's thinnest tablet the other day, but the announcement was the same, dry sort of press release that the world is, for good or ill, all too familiar with.

Still, the release did what it was supposed to do: impart information and make sure everyone reading it knew the tablet was thinner but no less capable than other slates running the Android 4.1 operating system (Jelly Bean).

Nevertheless, that Sony didn't publish some sort of intro video doesn't mean anyone else can't.

Sure, the short flick embedded above, and originally posted on Chinese website Weibo, is no flashy presentation.

It's actually a bit blurry, but it does show the OS, or at least its basic UI, running smoothly.

Go here to read all the hardware details on the slate. Still no word on price though.
