14 DAY TRIAL // Starting out with a musical soundtrack that would be better fitting to the next “Godzilla” movie, the latest HBO trailer for “Boardwalk Empire” is just as intense as you can handle it. You can really tell that the end of the whole series is coming, because Nucky's empire looks like it's ready to crash down.
Fans are still wondering why HBO chose to abruptly terminate “Boardwalk Empire,” a series that was enjoying a lot of success among audiences. Of course, it never reached the viral effect that “Game of Thrones” managed to achieve, but it was still a good show.
In this trailer, Nucky, can be heard saying “You keep going until you can’t turn back. And then it’s too late,” which sounds ominous. Soon after, the phrase “what do you want to do about our friend?” gets an even more ominous response “two shooters, in public” and then immediately we get an image with Nucky looking over his shoulder.
