14 DAY TRIAL // Panasonic has used the 2013 CES in Las Vegas to unveil its new Toughpad FZ-G1, a Windows 8 tablet that can withstand severe hits, water and dust.
Because it runs Windows 8, and we all know how important Windows 8 actually is for Microsoft’s future, the Redmond-based software company has rolled out a clip to show that Panasonic’s new tablet is a very, very tough device.
While we’ve seen some similar tests performed on Microsoft’s very own Surface RT too, the Panasonic Toughpad clearly seems to be a more rugged device and although it’s rather expensive, we’re pretty sure that many would buy it just because it’s durable.
And still, it hides some pretty neat hardware too, including an i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM, an SSD with either 128GB or 256GB of storage space, USB and Wi-Fi connectivity. More info is available here.
