Check out the new realistic first-person shooter in action ahead of its Fall 2013 release

Battlefield 4 was finally revealed to the public earlier today and in order to truly showcase the impressive new first-person shooter, developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts released a massive 17-minute direct gameplay video showcasing lots of explosive footage.

Battlefield 4 is eagerly awaited by millions of the franchise's fans, as the previous Battlefield 3 set new standards for online shooting as well as for post-release DLC support, as DICE launched several big expansions for the game.

Now, Battlefield 4, after plenty of leaks and reports, has been officially revealed to the world by DICE and EA.

Alongside the game's confirmation, a massive and quite lengthy 17-minute direct gameplay video has been posted, showcasing a mission called Fishing in Baku that features all sorts of diverse sequences, from controlling vehicles to infiltrating an industrial zone and then escaping using a regular car driven by the player.

Battlefield 4 is out in fall of this year so, until more details appear, check out the impressive video above.
