It's just eggs and bacon, except they are cooked on hot asphalt

In late February, I told you about how, in an attempt to raise awareness about climate change, global warming and their impact on human society, environmental group the World Wildlife Fund had a chef cook people in Paraguay a so-called global warming menu.

This past April 15, the organization released footage of this event, and I for one have to admit that watching somebody fry an egg in a pan that is sitting on nothing but asphalt is way more disturbing than reading about it.

In its video, available below, the World Wildlife Fund explains that, as confirmed by scientific investigations, climate change and global warming are already happening and will likely get worse in the near future.

The organization claims that, apart from fueling these phenomena by causing environmental pollution, human society is also guilty of fostering climate change and global warming by destroying large patches of forest.

Unless measures to limit greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation are implemented without delay, it will only be a matter of time until folks worldwide are able to cook themselves a nice lunch on the pavement, the environmental group wants people to understand.

Check out the organization's video to learn what a global warming menu is all about and feel free to share your thoughts on it in the comments section.
