The Russian president uses a deltaplane to guide the birds

Apparently, Russia's current President Vladimir Putin is a big fan of wildlife, hence his decision to use a deltaplane in order to fly close to a flock of cranes and guide them through the air.

Because these birds – which were born and raised in captivity – were about to start their annual migration, Vladimir Putin thought that they might need some guidance and that his help would be more than welcome.

In case you were wondering, this is not the first time when the Russian president decided to get this close to wildlife. Thus, not very long ago, he took some pictures with a polar bear and also tracked a Siberian tiger.

Hopefully, his commitment to protecting wildlife will help convince more people to get involved in conservation projects.
