The planting of the flag is part of Greenpeace's Save the Arctic campaign

It is no news that the environmentalists working with Greenpeace are nothing if not determined to save the Arctic regions and not allow various companies to commence drilling activities in this part of the world.

The organization's Save the Arctic campaign also involves the planting of a flag on the seabed at the North Pole this coming April.

The video above shows fashion designer Vivienne Westwood choosing the flag that is to be sent to the North Pole in just a few weeks.

As Greenpeace explains, the design competition meant to choose the organization's Arctic flag was the result of its working closely together with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

“The project is wonderful. Wish humanity will understand the message,” reads one of the comments to this video.
