Rugland kicks his way to the top as his clip went viral with 1.3 million views, gaining the attention of New York Jets reps.
According to the Daily Mail, he might be signed to the NFL team, as he was flown in to the States this week for a tryout.
“They tested me on field goals and kickoffs. Obviously you feel a little more pressure here, but I stayed pretty calm,” he says.
27-year-old Rugland used a soccer ball in the clip that gained him Internet fame; however, American football couches saw his potential. He has no experience playing football, but he does have the raw talent.
