The video was created by scientists at the University of Rochester

For those who have about two minutes to kill, here's one video said to predict you IQ. It won't give you an accurate reading of your smartness, but apparently it's a strong indicator of whether or not you could've befriended Einstein while he was still alive.

Now, I must insist that you first watch the video and then go on reading about how it is exactly that it measures your IQ.

Unless you plan on cheating, in which case go ahead and browse through the next paragraphs.

Supposing you did not want to jinx your results and agreed to first take the test, here's the explanation: people who have a higher IQ are more gifted than others when it comes to filtering out distracting sensory signals.

This means that they are unlikely to detect movement in the larger images thrown at them by this video.

As the University of Rochester researchers who designed this test explain, if you think the lines in the large images were stationary, you are probably smarter than your average Joe.

Then again, there are those who say that IQ is just a myth, so I suppose predicting just how smart a person is really ain't an exact science.
