Chills and brain freezes are just some of the things explained in this video

The human body does some really wacky things on a fairly regular basis. By the time we learn how to tie our shoelaces, we're so accustomed to them that we just deal with them without bothering to ask why our body acts this way.

The video above explains why people more often than not get chills when they are sick. It also details what brain freezes, needles and pins, pruney fingers and other odd sensations are all about.

I don't know about you, but I for one was quite surprised to hear that we get chills because our body is trying to cook the virus or whatever other threat our immune system is battling.

Then again, learning that the human stomach is forever making odd sounds that we only hear every once in a while was pretty cool too.
