Some of you might remember that back in September 2013 Samsung introduced the ISOCELL, a new technology meant to be implemented into smartphones and tablets.

Apparently, the Galaxy S 5 will feature this advanced photographic system that’s said to dramatically improve the quality of the snapped photographs.

For those who are still unclear about how the technology works and how it aims to perfect things in the photo department, Samsung has posted a video intuitively explaining what ISOCELL is and how it achieves its ends.

According to Sammy, ISOCELL is the answer other manufacturers have been desperately trying to uncover. How can you make low-light photography better, how can you make it stand out?

“ISOCELL pixels decrease crosstalk between neighboring cells by formatting minute barriers between neighboring pixels to increase light sensitivity and control electron collection resulting in higher color fidelity, even in poor lighting conditions.”

Reduced crosstalk is just one highlight of this new invention, as ISOCELL sensors can also capture light at wider angels and can take in more light before bloom occurs.

It’s that simple. The video will take only 2:08 minutes of your time to provide an accurate description of Samsung’s innovative camera tech, so go ahead and take a look.
