New Greenpeace video picks on P&G use of palm oil linked to forest destruction

Ask people to tell you a few things about Procter & Gamble, and they probably will not have all that much to say. Ask them about Head & Shoulders, on the other hand, and odds are they'll be a whole lot more open to conversation.

One can only assume that this is the reason why, in an attempt to convince the company to stop using palm oil linked to forest destruction, Greenpeace has decided to go after one of its famous product: Head & Shoulders.

The video above made it online just yesterday, and the green-oriented organization hopes that, after watching it, people will think twice about using said shampoo, maybe even agree to get behind their anti-P&G campaign.

The way Greenpeace sees things, folks who use Head&Shoulders on a regular basis contribute to the destruction of the natural habitats of several endangered species.

Granted, they probably aren't even aware of the fact that they are harming the natural world, but the fact remains that they are supporting an unsustainable and totally not eco-friendly business agenda.

“Procter & Gamble, makers of Head & Shoulders shampoo, continues to source the palm oil found in it's products from suppliers involved with destruction of Indonesian rainforests, home to the last 400 Sumatran tigers left in the wild,” the organization writes in the video's description on YouTube.

Here's hoping the organization will eventually get what it wants, and that P&G will manage to agree to green up its ways without delay.
