If you saw “Prometheus,” liked what you saw and would like to know more, now's your chance. The Daily got to speak with the brilliant people who helped Ridley Scott make a technical wonder of his movie.

*Please note that both videos here include major spoilers, so don't watch them if you haven't seen the film yet.

“Prometheus” begins with an eerie, breathtaking scene in which a lone humanoid figure drinks some black goo and disintegrates.

He is an Engineer and he's just created life on Earth. How that scene was made possible is explained in the first video.

The second clip shows how the FX for Prometheus the ship and for the final crash were achieved. It's truly interesting stuff, trust us.
