I don't know about you, but I for one have to admit that, as terrifying as the thought of a zombie apocalypse might be, the idea of witnessing bunnies take over the world is actually quite appealing.

Then again, bunnies have been documented to cause potentially deadly cases of cuteness overload, so maybe zombies are better, simply because people would know to run away from them instead of towards them.

The video above was shot on the Japanese island of Ōkunoshima. It shows a whole lot of bunnies chasing after a girl, and then pausing and patiently waiting to be rewarded with some food.

According to Huffington Post, rabbits were first brought to this island during World War II. At that time, the island of Ōkunoshima was home to just eight hoppers.

In time, however, their population upped to such an extent that the patch of land is now called “Rabbit Island.” Apparently, tourists just love visiting Ōkunoshima, and feed the rabbits every chance they get.
