The Humane Society of the United States has just released this video showing how the fashion industry's use of fur must be linked to horrific cases of animal cruelty.

Woody Harrelson, a defender of animal rights, is the person who narrates this video. The idea he wishes to bring forth is very simple and quite logical: if nobody would skin his/her pets and wear them as winter coats, then why would anyone wish to skin another animal?

As reported several times before, the animals that are either caught or specially raised in order for workers to get their fur and later on sell it to various brands undergo terrible tortures and experiences.

Thus, some of them are shot in the head, others are electrocuted and in the end, they all get skinned.

“Whether caught in steel traps in the wild or anally electrocuted after life in a cage on a fur farm, these animals suffer immensely,” the Humane Society wishes to show with the help of the unfortunate plush fox featured in this video.

Those wishing to lend a helping hand to the animals abused by the fashion industry can do so by signing a pledge to be fur-free here.
