Some might say that they work better under stress but, as it turns out, their bodies would disagree. According to this video shared by the folks at AsapSCIENCE, stress does more than leave people drained of all energy and not in the mood for anything. Quite a lot more, in fact.

Not to beat about the bush, it looks like, under certain circumstances, stress can actually prove deadly. As detailed in the video, too much stress affects the immune system and therefore makes people more vulnerable to various diseases.

What's more, individuals who experience lots of stress on a regular basis are more likely to have clogged arteries, which means that they have a higher risk of suffering a potentially deadly heart attack.

The good news is that there is one very simple way to make sure stress does not get the best of us: cuddling.
