In the case of the owners of a store called Texas Media Systems in Austin, US, the thief's clumsiness and lack of knowledge about the items they meant to illegally get their hands on pretty much left no room for option no. 1.
The video above was posted on YouTube shortly after said store got broken into.
It is made up of footage obtained with the help of security cameras, and proves that the thief had almost no idea about which things to steal, and which to leave behind.
Thus, the thief made away with items whose combined value amounted to about $1,400 (€1,023), and did not even touch things worth nearly ten times more.
What's more, their mask falls off at one point. As the store owners put it, this moment is priceless.
The video even has a musical background, i.e. the “Mission Impossible” theme and Queen's “Bohemian Rhapsody” played on kazoos, which I say makes it even more hilarious.
