President Barack Obama was on fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, entertaining guests with juicy jokes on a variety of topics from his own life to media, politics, and even pop culture references.

He also tried his hand at acting a bit, as the video above will confirm.

Well, “Daniel Day-Lewis” did, not Obama.

The vid above is a faux featurette for a new Steven Spielberg biopic, “Obama.” It stars the Oscar-winning Daniel Day-Lewis, who is so notoriously Method that he doesn’t break character until he’s done shooting.

This should explain why you think you’re seeing Obama in the video.

Day-Lewis talks about the challenge of applying makeup before going on set and putting the prosthetic ears on. He says he can’t understand how Obama “walks around with these things.”

It’s hilarious. Enjoy!
