Today, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will keynote at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, starting with 6:30 PM PST.

All those who would like to have a look at the CES Microsoft keynote address will be able to do so from the comfort of their homes, over the Internet.

“Even if you are unable to be at CES in person, you will be able to watch Steve Ballmer’s Microsoft 2012 CES keynote speech live from your computer or anywhere you have internet access,” the Redmond-based software giant explains.

One of the places where you will be able to watch the Steve Ballmer Microsoft 2012 CES keynote is the Microsoft News Center. Just access the webpage at 6:30 PM PST, and you’ll be attending CES.

Moreover, you can do the same via the special Facebook page that Microsoft put in place for the event (after all, this is the last CES for the company).

Microsoft’s Eric Ligman also promises a link to the replay of Steve Ballmer’s speech as soon as it becomes available online. Those who won’t be on able to have a look at the keynote starting with 6:30 PM PST, will have the possibility to watch it later.

Other resources to stay on top of the latest news from CES 2012 include the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) website, the Microsoft Consumer Products Newsroom, or the CES 2012 hashtag on Twitter.

What has not been revealed so far is what Microsoft plans on unveiling during the event, though some rumors on the matter have already emerged: new Windows Phones from Nokia, more on its cloud computing, new details on Windows 8. The latest Surface might be demoed there as well.

Of course, nothing is officially confirmed on any of these, but there are only a few hours left to see whether the rumor will pan out or not, so stay tuned.
