Colbert also targets the NTSB and Asiana Airlines, offers better fake names for pranks

So the Asiana Airlines fake pilot names controversy is still raging on, probably because the National Transportation Safety Board is refusing to own up to their mistake, choosing instead to blame an unnamed – and totally fired as of the other day – summer intern.

Above is a video of Stephen Colbert’s thoughts on the matter.

Obviously, he’s saying pretty much the same things that some of our readers have also said in the comments here (namely that both the TV station KTVU and the NTSB are to blame), but he does point out as well how ridiculous Asiana looks for threatening legal action against the network.

He also offers at least a couple, more original fake names than the ones read out in the video report that went viral. You know, for whoever is thinking of pulling a similar stunt in the future.

Enjoy!
