On June 17-18, President Obama is scheduled to meet with President Putin and discuss, among other things, the ways in which nuclear weapons threaten humanity.

The video above was released by Global Zero just a few days before this meeting between the two presidents.

It features celebrities we all know and look up to, all of whom have one wish: seeing the world entirely free of nuclear weapons.

Alec Baldwin, Matt Damon, Whoopi Goldberg, Robert De Niro and Morgan Freeman are just some of the celebrities asking President Obama to keep his promise and make sure nuclear weapons quit being used.

“Nuclear weapons are obsolete relics of the Cold War, they do not address today’s security threats, and they cost $1 trillion per decade globally. It’s time we get rid of them,” Morgan Freeman urges in this video.
