Polar bears are known to love and adore snow. However, by the looks of it, there are other creatures which also happen to be huge fans of the frozen white stuff.

The video above was shot in the Washington, DC area back in last year's December, and it was shared with the public by the Humane Society of the United States just yesterday.

The footage shows an adorable squirrel tunneling through snow and looking utterly determined to prove that nothing, not even the winter weather, can get it to reorganize its business agenda.

In fact, I dare say that the tiny creature actually enjoys digging its body in the snow only to resurface a few moments later, probably because it thinks the white stuff works wonders for its fur.

It is unclear what the squirrel was up to at the time when it was caught on camera, but if I were to guess, I would say that it was probably looking for spring. Whether or not it eventually managed to find it is still a mystery.

Why do you think this cute squirrel got busy exploring the snow that had piled up on top of its home? Let me know in the comments section below.
