Video teaches people how to perform the coolest 4th of July trick ever

Just in time for this year's 4th of July, CrazyRussianHacker uploaded a video teaching people how to keep a sparkler burning even under water.

It all looks surprisingly simple: just choose your “victim”, wrap it in duct tape, set it on fire and drop it in a bowl of water. Contrary to expectations, it will continue burning.

Bonus: some very cool bubbles, and tiny underwater explosions that'll definitely catch the neighbours' attention.

CrazyRussianHacker explains that, because they contain oxidizers, sparklers can go on burning even if they lack access to oxygen. Pretty amazing, right?

Now, I know this science experiment looks like loads of fun, not to mention easy to perform.

Still, I must insist that those who want to give it a try be extremely cautious, and make sure they don't do anything reckless that might put them or their friends and family in danger.
