With just a few hours left until the first press conferences kick off at IFA 2013 trade fair, Sony has confirmed that fans will be able to watch its event live on the Internet.

Sony is expected to announce its next Android flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z1, also known as Sony Honami. The Japanese company is likely to launch other products as well, but details are a bit scarce for the moment.

We reported earlier this week on Sony’s Xperia Z1 smartphone, which is expected to pack an impressive 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen display.

The phone’s specs have been confirmed yesterday via an official press release that leaked online. Details regarding Xperia Z1’s price tag and availability will be announced at Sony’s conference. In order to watch the press conference live from IFA 2013, head over to Sony’s website.
