We have already gotten used to Sony holding its major gaming event after Microsoft, so this year at Gamescom 2014 the Japanese company has already scheduled its press conference from 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST / 7pm CEST / 8pm GMT, August 12.

Considering Microsoft’s press conference is set to kick off on the same day, but from 5am PDT / 8am EDT / 1pm BST / 2pm CEST, Sony probably wants to tackle any major announcements that the Redmond-based plans for its own event.

It remains to be seen whether or not this is possible this year. Anyway, we do expect some more Destiny-related news, but Sony may also announce new info on its upcoming services like PlayStation Now streaming game service.

We hope new projects will be revealed as well. Sony has made a name of itself lately of helping bring lots of indie games on PS3/PS4 console, so it won’t come as a surprise if the company floods us with more indie announcements later today.

The Sony presentation will be streamed live on the company’s Gamescom Hub, Twitch, PlayStation Home, as well as PlayStation Facebook page, so you can choose any of these options to watch what the company has to share with the world of gaming.
