Although most people are well aware of the fact that millions of sharks die on a yearly basis, few know how it is exactly that these animals get killed.
As the footage shows, the animals get clubbed over the head until they can no longer defend themselves and eventually die. After that, they get pulled in boats and have their fins removed.
“I made this video to share the brutal reality of what is happening to our global shark populations,” Eli Martinez writes.
Furthermore, “The demand for shark products is growing and sharks can not keep up with the fishing pressure put on them. I created this video as a call to action for people to please stop buying any and all shark products.”
